These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of FirstResponderReadiness.com and the services, courses, and educational programs provided by First Responder Readiness (“Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). By accessing this website, registering for a course, or participating in training, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
By using this website or enrolling in any Company-sponsored training, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use the website or participate in services.
First Responder Readiness provides professional education and training services, including but not limited to CPR, BLS, ACLS, Emergency Cardiovascular Care programs, ENA Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC), Stop the Bleed, and related emergency preparedness instruction.
Course registration is required prior to attendance. All fees must be paid in full unless otherwise stated in writing. Registration is not guaranteed until payment is received. Course dates, times, instructors, and locations are subject to change.
Cancellation, rescheduling, and refund policies vary by course and are posted on individual course pages or registration materials. These posted policies supersede any general statements. Digital materials, provider manuals, certification fees, and issued cards are nonrefundable. Failure to attend a scheduled course (“no-show”) may result in forfeiture of all fees paid.
Certifications are issued by governing organizations such as the American Heart Association (AHA) or Emergency Nurses Association (ENA). Certification is contingent upon successful completion of course requirements as defined by those organizations. First Responder Readiness does not guarantee certification issuance if requirements are not met.
Participation in training may involve physical activity, skill performance, and simulation. You voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation and agree to follow instructor guidance and safety protocols at all times. You are responsible for notifying instructors of any medical or physical limitations.
All website content, training materials, curricula, logos, images, videos, and branding are the intellectual property of First Responder Readiness or its licensors. No content may be copied, reproduced, distributed, or used for commercial purposes without prior written permission.
You agree to use the website and services only for lawful purposes. You may not interfere with website functionality, attempt unauthorized access, scrape content, or misuse training materials.
To the maximum extent permitted by Texas law, First Responder Readiness shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from website use or participation in training, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless First Responder Readiness, its instructors, affiliates, and representatives from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your participation in training or violation of these Terms.
Your use of this website is also governed by the Company’s Privacy Policy and Cookie Notice, which are incorporated by reference.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the courts located in Texas.

This Participant Liability Waiver and Assumption of Risk (“Waiver”) applies to all individuals (“Participant”) who register for or participate in any educational program, course, or skills-based training provided by First Responder Readiness (“Company”).
I acknowledge that participation in healthcare and emergency response education—including, but not limited to, AHA CPR/BLS/ACLS, ENA Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC), Stop the Bleed, and simulation-based instruction—may involve physical activity such as kneeling, bending, lifting, chest compressions, bleeding control techniques, and use of training equipment. I voluntarily assume all inherent risks associated with participation, including the risk of minor injury, muscle strain, or physical discomfort.
I affirm that I am physically capable of participating in course activities. I understand that it is my responsibility to inform the instructor of any medical condition, injury, pregnancy, or limitation that may affect safe participation. I acknowledge that participation is voluntary and that reasonable self-limitation is permitted during skills practice.
To the fullest extent permitted by Texas law, I release and hold harmless First Responder Readiness, its owners, instructors, employees, contractors, host facilities, and affiliates from any claims, demands, or causes of action arising from participation in training, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct.
I understand that all courses are educational in nature and are conducted in accordance with AHA and ENA curriculum standards. Training does not replace professional medical judgment, clinical credentialing, or employer-based competency validation.
I understand that successful course completion does not guarantee certification. Certification cards are issued solely by the governing organization (e.g., American Heart Association or Emergency Nurses Association) upon satisfactory completion of all required cognitive and psychomotor components.
I agree to follow all instructor guidance, safety protocols, and course rules. Failure to comply may result in dismissal from the course without refund, consistent with AHA and ENA program policies.
This Waiver shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas.
By registering for or participating in training, I acknowledge that I have read, understand, and voluntarily agree to this Waiver.
