Course Format and Delivery
This Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) is delivered either in person or fully virtual format conducted live via Google Meet. The course is designed to provide an interactive, evidence-based learning experience while maintaining the rigor and standards of the Emergency Nurses Association.Electronic testing is completed through an open-book, online written examination that participants may take on their own time in the setting of their choice. This flexible format is designed to reduce test anxiety while supporting a comfortable and focused testing experience.
What’s Included
The course fee includes access to online precourse modules, participation in a live virtual TNCC course conducted over two consecutive days, completion of the Trauma Nursing Process (TNP) assessment using a virtual manikin, and administration of the online written examination. The TNCC Provider Manual, available in printed or electronic format, may be purchased separately at checkout.
Course Completion and Credits
Upon successful completion of the course requirements, participants will receive a four-year, internationally recognized TNCC Provider Verification Card and earn continuing nursing education (CNE) hours .
Eligibility and Prerequisites
Registered nurses are eligible for TNCC provider status. Licensed practical nurses and paramedics may attend all components of the course and will receive a certificate of completion upon finishing the program.
