Stop the Bleed® is a nationally recognized program that teaches participants how to recognize and control life-threatening bleeding. Rapid bleeding control can save lives before emergency responders arrive.
This 1–1.5 hour hands-on course focuses on essential bleeding control skills, including:
Identifying life-threatening hemorrhage
Applying effective direct pressure
Proper wound packing techniques
Correct tourniquet application
Confident response in bleeding emergencies
Duration: 1–1.5 hours
Format: Brief instruction with hands-on skills practice
Who Should Attend: Healthcare professionals, first responders, school and workplace staff, and community members
Prerequisites: None
Participants receive a Stop the Bleed® course completion certificate upon successful completion.
